SIKESTON -- Charles H. Hill, 93, died June 20, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Feb. 3, 1912, in Charleston, son of the late Charles Nicholas and Mary Scott Hill, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II having served in the European Theatre. A member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston, where he lived for many years, he had been employed with the area Knights Department Stores and the Buckner-Ragdale Department Store in Sikeston before retiring.

On Oct. 29, 1933, he married Grace M. Woods who preceded him in death on Feb. 24, 2003.

Four brothers also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles David and Joan Hill of Oran and Paul William Hill of Charleston; one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Lynn Hasty of Sikeston; and six grandchildren and several great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time for services at 11 a.m. at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Ed Carter, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Oran, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
