CHARLESTON -- Evelyn Louise Marshall, 92, died at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 30, 2005, at her home.

Born Nov. 19, 1912, in Charleston, daughter of the late Edgar Calvin and Mary Juanita Thompson Marshall Sr., she had lived her entire life in Charleston where she was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Molly French Garden Club and the P.E.O. She attended Stephens College in Columbia and Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau and taught in the Bridges School in rural Charleston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Marshall Pollock.

Survivors include: one brother and sister-in-law, Edgar C. and Jackie Marshall Jr. of Charleston; and 32 nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces and -nephews.

Visitation is scheduled from 1:30 p.m. until time for services at 2:30 p.m. today at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Roger Jespersen, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery. McMikle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be: Brad Hequembourg, Keith Whitehead, John Waggener, John W.L. Goodin, James M. Thurmond IV and Don Hellenmeyer.
