Norman Elsperman Sr.

CHAFFEE -- Norman Merle Elsperman Sr., 87, died at 1:35 a.m. Dec. 1, 2007, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born Jan. 1, 1920, in Vanduser, to the late George and Martha Wells Elsperman, he was the retired owner and operator of Norm's Service Station in Spring Valley, Calif.

On Aug. 15, 1942, he married Jewell Marie Jackson who preceded him in death on March 8, 2006.

One son and two sisters also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two sons, David Elsperman of Spring Valley and Mike Elsperman of Houston; one sister, Velma Lovel of Jackson; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. Monday until time of services at 1 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee. The Rev. Ed Carter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
