SIKESTON -- Lavada Jean Pobst, 72, died Feb. 17, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Aug. 8, 1933, in Cole Hill, Ark., daughter of the late B.E. and Audrey Rowland, she had worked as a pharmacy technician for Heisserers and Super D pharmacies before retiring.

On May 3, 1952, at Sikeston, she married Floyd Pobst who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Debbie Pobst of Sikeston; one daughter, Patty Wilcox of Sikeston; one sister, Bea Heisserer of Sikeston; four grandchildren, Jeremy Wilcox of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Jason Pobst, Matt Pobst and Chris Pobst of Sikeston; three great-

grandchildren, Gavin, Katie and Elijah of Sikeston; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, and one son-in-

law, Bob Wilcox.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Ponder Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Marvin Graham, a Baptist minister, officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Wilcox, Jason Pobst, Matt Pobst, Chris Pobst, Steven, Justin Pobst and Heath Hunter.
