Mary Mansfield

WILLOW SPRINGS - Mary Louise Mansfield, 76, formerly of Sikeston, died at 10:15 p.m. Nov. 19, 2007.

Born July 23, 1931, in Fredericktown to the late James Vallie Ellis Sr. and Ruby Shepard Ellis, she lived in Sikeston most of her life, working as a nurse at Shuffit's Nursing Home for 25 years. For the past five years, she lived in Willow Springs.

On March 8, 1952, she married James Elwood "Buck" Mansfield, who preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1990.

Also preceding her in death were one great-granddaughter, Star Leann Whitney; one brother, Joe Ellis, and two sisters, Freda Robbins and Celia Cracciola.

Survivors include: one son, James Elwood Mansfield of Manila, Iowa; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Edna and Dale Stinn of Seneca, Patty and Larry Kohout-Whitney of Willow Springs, Deborah Mansfield of Mountain View, and Janice and Gary Anderson of Harlan, Iowa; two brothers, James Vallie Ellis Jr. of Imperial and Frank Ellis of Wright City; two sisters, Helen Matlock of Valley Park and Ruth Schenk of Foley; and several grandchildren and several great-

grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
