Buddy Kimball

NEW MADRID - Jessie Charles "Buddy" Kimball, 79, died May 10, 2006, at his home.

Born July 27, 1926, in New Madrid, he was the son of the late Willard Leslie and Gladys Robie Kimball.

Survivors include: seven children and their spouses, Jessie and Kay Kimball, Robert Kimball, Sandy Kimball, Benny and Joyce Kimball and Jackie and James Crafton of New Madrid, Julie and Gerald Brock of Marston and Mike and Leah Kimball of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Buster Kimball of Lilbourn, Thurman Watson Kimball of Sikeston and Eugene "Binks" Kimball of New Madrid; three sisters, Imogene Hunt of the state of California, Shirley Anne Kimball of New Madrid and Lillian Ruth Davis of Sikeston; and 15 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: one daughter, Debbie Kimball; two brothers, Jim Bob Kimball and Willard Leslie Kimball; and one sister, Beulah Gladys Kimball.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in New Madrid where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gary Henson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.

Richards Funeral Home of New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
