Conversation on ConverStation

Sunday, March 5, 2006

ConverStation, a game created by Camille Lancaster of Sikeston, is now available locally through Craftmasters Kidsmart in downtown Sikeston. One of the "Toy of the Year" finalists, ConverStation offers 240 question cards which focus on speech-language skills including organization, memory, language, vocabulary, categorization, sequencing and problem solving. Also Craftmasters carries the workbook with its game questions to correspond with use of the game. Lancaster, left, explains the workbook's uses to, from left, Joyce Wollenburg, Tammy Coleman and Nancy Craft, owner of Craftmaster. Craft said game is drawing the attention of educators and it will be featured in the store's summer newsletter.
