Senior Andrew Halford led Risco with 22 points. Robert Fowler and Rodulfo Johnson each had 14 points for the Tigers.

"We got up and down the floor well tonight," said Risco head coach Brandon Blankenship. "We had a lot of layups because the guys were passing effectively and sometimes we made two or three passes and scored without the ball touching the floor."

Sophomore Sloan Richardson led Delta C-7 with 13 points and Nathan Boone chipped in with 12 points for the Chargers.

Risco (11-8, 6-2) hosts Bell City on Friday night. The Cubs are currently ranked No. 2 in Class 1.

"We have Bell City on Friday and that is going to be a tough game," said Blankenship. "We have won seven in a row and the guys have tons of confidence heading into the matchup. We will be at full strength and will go into the game not fearing anybody."
