Your view: Life-saving effort

Hats off to the city of Sikeston!

Once again when the citizens of Sikeston were informed of a need the Sikeston Community responded.

"Taking pride Community Wide"!

That has never been more evident than in your enormous response to the Community Blood Drive held at The Hunter Memorial Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, July 17th.

The goal was exceeded as city officials, teachers, bankers all professions-yes even mom and dad-came out rolled up their sleeves and gave their life-line, confident they were saving a life.

What more can we say than we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and on behalf of the lives you saved and will save!

What you did that day may be the most important thing you will do all summer, for it was life-changing!

We need you, and together we can save a life.
