Tina Hatchett

SHELBYVILLE, Ill. -- Tina Hatchett, 98, formerly of Grayridge, Mo. and Dexter, Mo., died Aug. 22, 2007, at the Shelbyville Rehab and Health Care Center.

Born Oct. 15, 1908, in Grayridge, daughter of the late William Thomas and Myrtle May Clevenger Hatchett, she had moved to Illinois several years ago. A former kitchen worker at Richland Public Schools, she was a member of the Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church in Dexter.

Survivors include: one niece, Bonnie Zinn of Shelbyville.

Two brothers, Allen Hatchett and Ralph Hatchett; and two sisters, Iva Cozart and Elsie Hatchett, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
