SIKESTON -- Maggie Skinner, 86, died at 5:43 p.m. July 30, 2006, at her home.

Born Nov. 24, 1919, in Marlow, Tenn., daughter of the late Jess Anton and Frances Marion Jones Taylor, she was a cook for 60 years, working at Rustic Rock, War Drum and for Sikeston Public Schools. She had worked at the International Shoe Factory in Sikeston and attended Smith Avenue Church of God.

Survivors include: one son, Kenneth C. Long of Elverta, Calif.; five daughters, Gladys Rogers and Mary Mason of Sikeston, Linda Raines of Sacramento, Calif., Shelby Samenigo of Kerman, Calif., and Freddie Sue Spraggs of Holts Summit; and 28 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren and numerous great-

great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Rita Darnall and Arlene McGill; four brothers; and 13 sisters.

Visitations is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Rick Huffman, Michael Rogers, Wesley Rogers, Troy Benefield, Jarrod Staggs, Wade Huffman and Brian Long.
