Speakout 3/22

I am a Sikeston Senior High 1987 graduate. I attended our 10-year reunion and had a wonderful time catching up to some wonderful memories. I am ready to see all of my classmates again for our 20-year reunion. However, I am not sure who to get in touch with to find out what the details are, if there are any at this time. I would like to obtain information so that I may plan accordingly without having to ruin my family's summer vacation plans and have my husband some allotted time to get off from work. If you could please post this somehow, maybe it will catch someone's attention. Thank you. Twenty years come and gone. A 1987 Sikeston Senior High graduate.

If the Miner Police Department wants to write speeding tickets, they don't have to sit out on I-55. All they have to do is come sit out behind Jarvis, behind the Piggly Wiggly Store where they can see Lucas Street, and they can write all the speeding tickets they want in a day's time.

Citizens of Miner, you do not have to worry about your upcoming election anymore. We just got off the phone with the governor's office and he promised to call out the National Guard to oversee your upcoming election to make sure everybody gets to vote. But only once! But now you can sleep at night knowing you can have this protection.

As we understand it, the concern isn't voters casting more than one ballot, but electioneering near the polls.

I was calling about the little ad in the paper about the cookbooks for sale at First Baptist Church. Could you leave your name and phone number in the paper because I would like to order one of your cookbooks from you?

The General was right the other day when he said homosexuality was immoral. The Bible calls it an abomination. He was right, no need to apologize.

Well, the ole Democrats, especially the stonewall Democrats pushing homosexuality. They talk about the global warming gonna burn this thing up, Democrats and all. They wanting to have homosexuality out in the open. They are cutting money off to the troops. Fighting for this country is a waste of time I guess. That's the way it's turning out. The Democrats are going to destroy this world. I predicted that years ago and it's going to be a fact if the Almighty lets the world stand long enough.
