SIKESTON -- Committal services for George Knox II, 74, formerly of Sikeston, who died March 1, 2004, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. The Rev. John Goodwin, pastor of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church in Sikeston, will officiate.

He is survived by: his wife, Royleen Howard Knox of Sikeston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Anna Lisa and Charles Sanders of Atlanta and Lorya Jineanne Knox-Walker and Gregory Walker of Sikeston; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Inmond and Alice Parrish of Los Angeles, Calif., Alphonzo and Deborah Chatman, Marcus Parrish and George and Yolanda Parrish of Detroit; two sisters, the Rev. Ernestine Thompson of Detroit and Nola Jean Hitchens of Las Vegas; two brothers, Willie B. Knox and Raymond Knox of Detroit; and 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
