SIKESTON -- Brenda Joyce Wey, 63, died at 6:15 p.m. June 3, 2007, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born March 20, 1944, in Campbell, daughter of the late Almus and Elnor Juanita Cashion Truman, she was a hairdresser for 33 years until her retirement and was owner/operator of Southern Aire Beauty Salon in Sikeston. She was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship in Sikeston where she served as a teacher for the adult Sunday school class.

On April 13, 2003, in Sikeston, she married Robert D. Wey who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Darrell Thacker of Clarkton and Michael Huckelbery of Kennett; two daughters, Leslie Jo Morgan of Campbell and Tina Wiggins of the home; one brother, Jerry Hicks of Bonne Terre; two sisters, Betty Farmer of St. Peters and Debra Kerperien of Republic; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Rick Rogers, a family friend, will officiate.

Visitation will also be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Bill Martin of Sikeston officiating.

Burial will follow in the Old Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.

Pallbearers will be: Dale Hanners, Harold James Hanners, Randy Farmer, Tony Lacky, Jerry Wayne Hicks and Tony Kerperien.
