PORTAGEVILLE -- Leslie "Lessie" Dailey, 72, died May 4, 2007, at Pemiscot Memorial Health System in Hayti.

Born Dec. 23, 1934, in Grenado, Miss., he was the son of the late Iona and Willie Meeks.

His wife, Neomia Brady Dailey, preceded him in death on May 7, 1993.

One daughter, Stella Ann Dailey; one brother; and four sisters also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: four sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Dailey, W.C. Dailey and Eli Dailey of Portageville and Leslie and Kim Dailey Jr. of Kansas City; five daughters and one son-in-law, Linda and John Sipho of Kansas City, Onie Durden, Denise King, Anna Smith and Lisa Dailey, all of Portageville; three brothers, Willie Meeks Jr. of the state of Michigan, Tom Meeks of Kansas City and Jerome Smith of Marston; two sisters, Lee G. Meeks of the state of Michigan and Emma Jones of Kansas City; and 25 grandchildren and 13 great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Friday until service time at 1 p.m. at Temple of God Glory. The Rev. Reginald Grant will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Leslie Dailey Jr., Terry Durden, Larry Green, Eli Dailey, Chris Durden and Shaundell Anderson.

DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville is in charge of arrangements.
