Police search continuing for Bootheel man

CARUTHERSVILLE - Law enforcement authorities are continuing to search for a man first reported missing May 15.

At 2 a.m. Wednesday, the Jackson, Tenn., Police Department contacted the Caruthersville Police Department to report a 2000 model Buick LeSabre last seen operated by Juan Terrell Walton of Caruthersville was located. The vehicle, found in a parking lot in an apartment complex in Jackson, was seized and impounded by police.

Walton, who was reported missing May 15 by his mother, was not located. He currently is entered as missing with the National Crime Information Center.

He is described as a black male with a medium complexion. Walton is 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Authorities said he has a scar on the right side of his face.
