Lenda Jordan

MOREHOUSE -- Lenda Joyce Jordan, 60, died at 6 a.m. June 11, 2007, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

Born June 1, 1947, in Chicago, to the late Herbert Lee and Irma Ilene Glaspell Jerls, she was a homemaker. She had also worked for 20 years at Himmelberger-

Harrison Manufacturing Company in Morehouse.

On Jan. 9, 1965, she married Dawsey Lee Jordan who preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1972. On May 25, 1990, she married David E. Jordan who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Lora Jordan of Morehouse and Jimmy A. "Bodie" and Mollie Jordan of Sikeston; three daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and Roy Ward of Sikeston, Rejena and Marty Presley of Sikeston and Tera and Kevin Barks of Dexter; two stepsons and one daughter-in-law, Butch Jordan and Keith and Carolyn Jordan of Morehouse; one stepdaughter and son-in-law, Beth and Mike Johnson of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Lois Nelson of Bloomfield; and 11 grandchildren and 11 great-

grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and two great-

granddaughters.

Visitation is from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Essex Cemetery. The Rev. Scott Sutton, pastor of New Life Ministries in New Madrid, will officiate.

Pallbearers will be: Kory Presley, Taylor Hyslop, Glen Rodgers, Kevin Sutton, Joe Sutton and Kevin Jordan II.
