Speakout 12/15

I want to speak out about Mrs. Bush. Mrs. Bush has joined the campaign to protect the babies in Africa. Home comes first. A lot of kids in the U.S. need help. They are cutting out almost all funds for kids. And now her and her husband want to help African kids. What's wrong with them? We need a new system going. We need these people out of office.

This is for all the callers complaining about the loud music in town. The city ordinance states that the police officer has to hear it in order to give a ticket for the violation. You can't act just on a call in. Maybe we need to get city council to change that where if somebody calls in, and it's been more than once, the police officer can go ahead and issue a citation on it. I appreciate what DPS does.

I'd like to comment on the Sikeston-Charleston basketball game. I mean, it was a great game. Some of the Sikeston fans, you should've heard what they were saying, some of the most disrespectful things I have ever heard. You talk about the Charleston player, Charleston school, a Charleston town. It doesn't matter. It all comes down to that game that's being played on the court. And just as I said earlier, we all know that Sikeston will never be better than Charleston at basketball, no matter what. I see they had seeded Sikeston number one, Charleston number two. For what, Sikeston going to the state finals once in the last 10 years? That makes them better because they're in a bigger class? Come on. We play the toughest schedule around. It doesn't matter that Sikeston is 4-A, our schedule is 4-A. Sikeston cannot beat Charleston. They haven't beat us since 1995.

Saturday Dec. 9 someone driving an extended cab Ford pickup pulled into our driveway and took our beagle dog out of his pen. This person assumed obviously that no one was home. We were at home and we did see what you were driving. Please return our beagle dog the same way you took him. Our children our devastated. We have a 7-year-old whose birthday is Christmas Eve and our daughter is very upset. A reward will be offered. Our phone number is 683-4228. Please return Scruffy.

I would like to write in about Speaking ridiculously. This woman in here says it is stupid to write in about a prayer in SpeakOut. Everybody needs prayer. I know if something like that happened to me, I would love to be prayed for. That man was just very, very happy to help his wife. I think they are ridiculous. I think they need to keep their mouth to their self. My mother always told me if you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all.
