KELSO - Andrew Frank Kieffer, 56, died Nov. 19, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 22, 1918, at Chaffee, son of the late Frank Joseph and Mary Catherine Bles Kieffer, he worked for Ste. Genevieve Building and Stone until 1950 when he moved to the Kelso area and began farming. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving during World War II, a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.

On July 15, 1944, he married Lucille Jeannette Uding who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, David Kieffer and Kevin Kieffer of Kelso; two daughters, Carolynne Kieffer, PhD., and Nancy Kieffer of St. Louis; one sister, Mary Backfisch of Benton; and five grandchildren and four great-

grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and two sisters.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today, with parish prayers at 6 p.m., at Amick-

Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Church in Kelso. The Revs. Oliver Clavin and Tom Kiefer will officiate.

Burial with full military rites will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery at Kelso.
