HAYTI -- Mary Blankenship, 68, died Feb. 7, 2008, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Born June 24, 1939, at Marston, she was the daughter of the late Katie Wiley and William Sawyer.

On Aug. 18, 1962, at Portageville, she married George Blankenship who preceded her in death on March 29, 1995.

Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Glendall Allen Robbins, John Henry Robbins and Gary Wayne Sawyer; and one grandchild, Jarred Lane Hefner.

Survivors include: two sons, Kelly James Blankenship of Holts Summit and George Nathan Blankenship of Hayti; one brother, Tommy Robbins of Marston; two daughters, Teresa Hefner of Poplar Bluff and Frances Prewett of Campbell; one sister, Ella Mae Rankin of Morris, Ill.; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Sunday at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
