Speakout 8/14

Monday, August 14, 2006

I wonder why so many people let there names be used in the railroad dispute. At least 80 percent of the signers are not close to the trains that the railroads want to change. We need these jobs, both for money and retirement pensions. Most of all they are the ones that haul heavy things. Who else would do this?

About 2,500 people in Scott County and still counting.

The government is making welfare kings out of the farmers, driving these big fancy pickups. Years and years ago they didn't have that. They need to take that money and put it in Medicaid and Medicare. If he's a good farmer he'll make it, if he's not, he won't. It's breaking the country.

I called SpeakOut. I'm looking for Stone's Construction, not Stallings.

I really don't think we will be lucky if Plan B the morning after pill is approved by the FDA. These women will continue having more than one child because the more children they have the bigger their check. I really don't think the government will pay for them to have a morning after pill because you know that's not going to be free and they're not going to pay for it. I wish they would use it.

We just heard the election results. We are really happy Mr. Horman won because we feel like he is qualified to do the job. We think everybody should be given a chance. Good luck.
