DEXTER -- Charles Wayne Hart, 57, formerly of Charleston, died Nov. 24, 2006, at the John J. Pershing V.A. Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Born April 16, 1949, in Charleston, son of Frances Helen Metheny Hart and the late Richard Joseph Hart, he was a maintenance man for the Town and Country Supermarket chain of Fredericktown and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his mother, survivors include: three daughters, Lisa Sprous and Gina Hart of Sikeston and Elesha Williamson of Dexter; three brothers, Larry Hart and David Hart of Charleston and Mike Hart of Berkburnett, Texas; two sisters, Judy Hart of Pembroke, Ky., and Jean Choate of Crown Point, Ind.; and three grandchildren.

Preceding him in death in addition to his father were one brother, Richard Lee Hart; one sister, Frances Cooper; and one granddaughter.

Visitation is after noon Tuesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Missouri Funeral Honors Program.
