Christine Evans

SIKESTON -- Mildred Christine Evans, 73, died Aug. 8, 2008, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born July 28, 1935, in Moulton, Ala., to the late Robert and Flossie Garrison Parker, she was a homemaker and member of Bird's Corner Assembly of God Church.

On July 29, 1963, in Decatur, Ala., she married Jack Evans who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Randy Heron of Somerville, Ala., and Tim Evans and Tracy Jack Evans of Dexter; one sister, Kathleen Landers of Moulton; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

One brother preceded her in death.

Services were conducted today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dale Gregory officiated.

Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Larry Evans, David Mott, Glen Jenkins, Danny Day, Doug Estes and Ed Pratt.
