Brenda Hodge

CENTRALIA, Ill. -- Brenda Yount Hodge, 58, died at 5:10 p.m. Sept. 18, 2008, at her home.

Born Jan. 15, 1959, in Scott County, Mo., to the late Elbert R. and Irene Moss Yount, she had lived in Salem before moving to Centralia in 1990. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse for 16 years at Warren G. Murray Center in Centralia.

Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tracy and Loretta Alford of Raytown, Mo., and Thomas Alford of San Diego; one daughter and son-in-law, Terrie and Anthony Davis of Rutherford, Tenn.; two brothers, Perry Yount of Bertrand, Mo., and Bobby Yount of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Janet Williams of Bertrand; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church of Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Webb Yount Cemetery in Marquand, Mo.
