Kathy Henry

BERTRAND -- Kathy Jean Henry, 51, died at 4 a.m. Oct. 9, 2008, at her home.

Born Sept. 22, 1957, in East Prairie, to the late Luther E. and Dorothy Hockersmith Wasson, she worked at the East Prairie Garment Factory and Brown Shoe Company in Sikeston. She was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: one son, Timothy Lee Wasson of Bertrand; one daughter, Melissa Dawn Adams of Bertrand; three brothers, Larry Wasson and Charles Wasson of East Prairie and Gary Wasson of Des Arc, Ark.; two sisters, Sue Williams of Bertrand and Martha Mayfield of East Prairie; three grandchildren; and a special friend, Terry Clark of Bertrand.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday with Jim Hoyt officiating.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
