Mary Holt
GRANITE CITY, Ill. -- Mary Lee Pipkin Holt, 67, formerly of New Madrid, Mo., died Nov. 11, 2008, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born Feb. 9, 1941, to the late Jack and Pauline Pipkin of Kewanee, Mo., she lived most of her life in Collinsville.
She was married to W.R. "Dudder" Jones who preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1991. In Dec. 1991, she married Mickey "Red" Holt who survives of the home.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kim Jones of Collinsville; two daughters, Mary Jean Clark of Belleville and Gwen Jones of Caseyville, five brothers, Jackie Pipkin of Rector, Ark., George Pipkin, Kenneth Pipkin and Ronnie "Waldo" Pipkin of Kewanee and Edgar "Boo Boo" Pipkin of Farrenburg, Mo.; two sisters, Emma Steward of Southhaven, Miss., and Joan Pipkin of Kewanee; and four grandchildren, Derek Clark, Zack Jones, Leah Marie Jones and Amber Moench and two great-grandchildren, Chase Moench and Cadence Evans.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Richard Jones; one sister, Delores Tollison; one brother, Roy Pipkin; and one granddaughter Cara Jean Moench.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Tom McCanless will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
Pallbearers will be: Jackie Pipkin, Edgar "Boo Boo" Pipkin, George Pipkin, Ronnie Pipkin, Dewey Jones and Marvin Skaggs.
Honorary pallbearers are James Jones, Johnny Jones and Eddie Jones.
