Richard Kell

SIKESTON -- Richard Kell, 58, died Nov. 25, 2008, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Nov. 3, 1950, in Sikeston, son of Ruth Nipper Thiry of Tupelo, Miss., and the late Jack Owen Kell, he was a member of North Acres General Baptist Church and worked as a steel fabricator.

On Nov. 5, 1996, he married Sheila F. Arnold who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife and mother, other survivors include: one son, Jason Kell of Mandeville, La.; one daughter, Celeste Laws of Pascagoula, Miss.; two sisters, Debbi New of Glen Allen, Miss., and Diane Yielding of Tupelo; and three grandchildren.

Services were conducted today at the North Acres General Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Tippen, pastor, officiated.

Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Ponder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
