Joyce Sims

CHAFFEE - Joyce H. Bevenue Sims, 78, died Jan. 26, 2009, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 4, 1930, in Kaskaskia, Ill., to the late Henry L. and Myrtle A. Russell Bevenue.

She was married to William L. Sims, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death were three sisters, Edith Boldin, Feem O'Neil and Violet Robinson; three brothers, Forrest Denninger, Andrew Denninger and Joseph Bevenue.

Survivors include: two sons, Leo Wayne Sims of Chaffee and Tommy Sims of Ste. Genevieve and one sister, Marcella Stennett of Collinsville, Ill.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until time of services at noon at the Basler Funeral Home. Jonathan Khorie will officiate.

Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery, in Ste. Genevieve.
