Applications for grants are changing

Organizations will have to show proof of financial responsibility

SIKESTON -- Applying for grant sponsorships and funding through the city will now require a bit more paperwork.

A bill amending city code to require proof of operational and financial responsibility from organizations seeking grant funding or grant sponsorship through the city was approved during the special Sikeston City Council meeting Monday morning.
