Corps gears up for predicted flooding

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Memphis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has initiated a Phase I floodfight due to high Mississippi River stages with higher stages forecasted. The area of flooding is located in the northern portion of the Memphis District.
