Sikeston can't come through with timely hits

NEW MADRID -- Sikeston American Legion Post 114's struggles continued on Thursday evening as they fell to the New Madrid Owls by a final score of 5-2 in New Madrid at Eagles Park. A shortage of timely hits led to seven men left stranded on the bases for Post 114, eventually ending in the three run loss.
