Charges expected in death of child

Autopsy shows Caruthersville child died of head trauma

CARUTHERSVILLE - Following an autopsy, murder charges are expected to be filed in the death of a Pemiscot County toddler.

An autopsy was performed Sunday at the Mineral Area Hospital in Farmington on Lillian Fowler, 2. According to Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell, the child died of head trauma following an assault last Wednesday.
