Lilbourn School will receive Senate computers

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Lilbourn Elementary School is one of five Missouri schools that will get taxpayer-funded federal computers no longer used by the Senate are going to good use in schools across the country.

The schools are to get them just in time for the winter holiday season. According to U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill, the schools have been randomly selected among qualified schools to participate in the U.S. Senate's Computers for Schools program, which allows public schools to take advantage of surplus government computers by bringing technology into classrooms nationwide.
