Local teams prepare to tip off

SIKESTON ---- The Scott County Central Braves are just a season removed from a Class 1 state championship and will be returning two very important cogs to that successful machine a year ago.

Guard Bobby Hatchett (5-8, sr.) and post-man Otto Porter (6-8, jr.) are the only returning starters from the 29-2 Braves and are the only two that saw significant playing time as well.
