SIKESTON -- Break out the bell bottoms and dust off the platform shoes as Bootheel Counseling Services takes a step back into the 1970s for its 35th anniversary celebration.

Set for Sept. 24 at the Miner Convention Center, the '70s-themed event will feature a social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and an auction and entertainment at 7:30 p.m. followed by music and dancing.
