New sidewalks in New Madrid

New sidewalks and street lighting are planned along New Madrid's Main Street. Work began Monday by Fronabarger Concrete of Oak Ridge on the project. Pictured working on the first segment of the sidewalk in front of the New Madrid County Courthouse are, from left: Doyle Sander Jr., Phillip Miller and Alfie Nunnally as Tracy Messemer directs the concrete out of the truck.
