LILBOURN -- Dorothy L. Morrison, 79, died May 9, 2012, at her home in Lilbourn.

Born March 30, 1933, in New Madrid, to the late George Washington and Maggie O'Dell Halterman, she was a member of the Big Ridge Church where she was also as Sunday school teacher.

She was married to Edgar "Jim" Morrison, who preceded her in death in 1979.

She was also preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Survivors include: one son, Edgar Darrell Morrison Sr. of Lilbourn; one daughter and son-in-law, Norma Beverly and Jack Lewis of Lilbourn; one brother, Floyd Halterman of the state of Arkansas; three grandchildren, Edgar Darrell (Julie) Morrison Jr. of Dexter, Darlene Leonard Lewis of Cape Girardeau and Christina and Scot McWaters of Matthews; and four great-grandchildren, Chase Morrison, Alyssa Morrison, Lindsey McWaters and Jacob McWaters.

Visitation is from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Richards Funeral Home in Lilbourn with the Rev. David Dowdy officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Edgar Darrell Morrison Jr., Darren Lewis, Scot McWaters, Floyd Halterman Jr., Roger Nunn and Ray Halterman.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Chase Morrison and Jacob McWaters.
