Celebrating 100 years

Residents of Scott County marked 100 years of the Scott County Courthouse during a celebration on Saturday afternoon. Above: Scott County Presiding Commissioner Jamie Burger addresses the crowd from the courthouse steps. Burger recognized both past and present officials that were in attendance at the event. The Reischman Family performs patriotic music on the courthouse steps.  many in attendance brought lawn chairs and sat in the shade to watch the celebration. Tours of the courthouse were given and during the late afternoon hours and live music was played until a fireworks display concluded the celebration.
