Dora Glisson

LILBOURN -- Dora Bell Glisson, 87, formerly of Lilbourn, died June 30, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Feb. 25, 1925, in Silverdale, she was the daughter of the late H.W. Haygood and Willie Mae Ray.

On Sept. 20, 1954, in Bokerton, she married Flossie Row Glisson Jr. who preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 1978.

Survivors include: a son, John Glisson of Kennett; two daughters, Joyce Williams of Marston and Debra Kennedy of Lilbourn; a sister, Maxine Redmond of Montgomery City; and five grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted Tuesday at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden with Willie Grant officiating.

Burial followed in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
