EAST PRAIRIE - Brenda Bernice Baker, 57, died at 1 p.m. Aug. 21, 2012, at her home in East Prairie.

Born Dec. 15, 1954, in East Prairie to Frankie Bernice Davenport Bisher of East Prairie and the late Earl Julian Sprinkles, she was a retired school cook having worked at the Bowling Green, Fla., Elementary for 12 years. She was a member of the New Beginnings Church in East Prairie.

Besides her mother, survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Rusty Don Baker of East Prairie and Dusty Earl and Brittany Baker of Brookport, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Sonya Denice and Ronald Carter of East Prairie; six brothers, Kenny and David Sprinkles of Maynard, Ark., and James, Stevie, Henry and Michael Sprinkles of East Prairie; three sisters, Sheila Tubbs of Benton, and Sandra Sprinkles and Shelly Wolford of East Prairie; and six grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Archie Earl Sprinkles.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Randy Eskew officiating.

Pallbearers will be her brothers.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
