DEXTER -- Cyrena M. DeBerry Bragg, 91, died Nov. 9, 2012, at her home.

Born June 25, 1921, in Tyler, to the late Rally and Mattie Lou King Hawkins, she lived most of her life in Southeast Missouri including in Dexter for the past several years. She had worked as a seamstress at the Elder Manufacturing Company and was of the Protestant belief.

In 1937, in Steele, she married James T. DeBerry who preceded her in death Aug. 28, 1967. She later married W.C. Bragg who preceded her in death in February 1991.

Surviving are: two daughters, Audrey Pounds of Covington, Tenn., and Marie Hankins of Bloomfield; one son, Charles DeBerry of Dexter; one sister, Reatha Roberts of Tunica, Miss.; one daughter-in-law, Shirley DeBerry of Rockford, Ill.; and 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sons, William DeBerry, Hugh DeBerry, James Timothy DeBerry and Michie DeBerry.

Services were conducted today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Bob Holland of Bloomfield officiating.

Burial followed in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
