Dixie Wheeler

SPRINGFIELD -- Dixie Lee Wheeler, 87, formerly of Sikeston, died Nov. 10, 2012, at the Stafford Care Center.

Born Jan. 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Ida Spears.

On April 10, 1948, she married L.F. Wheeler who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include: two daughters, Dixie Smith of Nixa and Andrea Kimbrough of Springfield; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

The Greenlawn Funeral Home of Springfield was in charge of arrangements.
