PERKINS - Vivian M. Menz, 75, died at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 25, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born April 26, 1928, at Powe, daughter of the late Buster and Carrie Jackson Dortch, she retired as co-owner of Perkins Motor Works. A member of the Perkins Baptist Church and WMU she was a member of the Perkins Needle Club and was active in the Perkins community.

On Oct. 12, 1942, she married Robert "Robby" Menz who preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 2000.

Survivors include: three sons, Robert Menz of Sidney, Ohio, Kenneth Menz of Chaffee and Mike Menz of Perkins; one daughter, Joyce Menz of Jackson; and 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

One sister also preceded her in death.

Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Rick Crump will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
