SIKESTON - Sharonda Boyd and Tommy G. Jones are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 7:58 p.m. Jan. 22, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Tamiya Marie Jones weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and was 17 1/4-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Janet Boyd and Herman Thompson.

Paternal grandparents are Barbara Jones and Tommy Jones.

SIKESTON - Dean Alan and Christine M. Spurlock are the parents of their second child, first son, born at 2:11 p.m. Jan. 16, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Payton Alan Spurlock weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Spurlock is the former Christine Schwendemann, daughter of Ann Schwendemann of Portageville and the late Robert Schwendemann. She is a teacher at the Sikeston Career and Technology Center.

Spurlock, son of Leonard and Mary Ann Spurlock of Sikeston, is a sales executive for the Duckett Truck Center.

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. - John and Stacey Wathen are the parents of their third child, first daughter, born at 5:05 p.m. Jan. 16, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. Emma Grace Wathen weighed 8 pounds and was 21-inches long.

Mrs. Wathen is the daughter of Jacqueline Lloyd of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and the late Allen G. Lloyd.

Wathen, son of Charles and Sybil Wathen of Sikeston, is a sales manager for Spartech Plastics.

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Rachel Lynne Buckthorpe and Derek Edward Lloyd are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 9:22 a.m. Jan. 17, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Haleigh Jade Lloyd weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 1/2-inches long.

Buckthorpe, daughter of Lisa and Richard Buckthorpe of New Madrid, is manager for Papa John's.

Lloyd, son of Jean and Erwin Lloyd of Lilbourn, is a driver for Papa John's.

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Roman Daniel and Nicole Marie Rucker Smith are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 9:31 p.m. Jan. 19, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Leilani Nicole Smith weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 21-inches long.

Mrs. Smith, daughter of Wade and Ileasher Rucker of Sikeston, is a registered nurse at the Lutheran Home.

Smith, son of Gaynel McGull-Smith of St. Louis, is employed by Best Buy.

ALLENVILLE - James Leon and Melisa Ann Givens Jr. are the parents of their fourth child, second son, born at 12:42 p.m. Jan. 21, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Hunter Lee Givens weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19-inches long.

The former Melissa Heath, Mrs. Givens is the daughter of David Heath of Chaffee and the late Margie Heath. She is a certified medical technician for the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Givens, son of Jim and Anna Givens of Allenville, is a driver for Big Lake Transport.

MARSTON - Florence Morrison and Nathan Johnson are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 5 p.m. Jan. 19, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Jalicia Shavonne Anique Johnson weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces and was 16 1/4-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Martha Linley and Sidney Howard.

Paternal grandparents are Catherine Adams and Nathaniel Johnson.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Justin Riley and Caroline Critchfield Hunter are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 5:47 p.m. Jan. 21, 2004, at George Washington University Hospital. Helena Madden Hunter weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Hunter is the daughter of Richard and Kristine Critchfield of Boca Raton, Fla.

Hunter is the son of Furg and Sarah Lee Hunter of New Madrid, Mo.

EAST PRAIRIE - Anthony and Sheryl Toon are the parents of their third child, first son, born at 2:50 p.m. Jan. 19, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Anthony Glenn "A.J." Toon Jr. weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Toon, daughter of Darrell Woods and Alice Woods, is a teacher's aide.

Toon, son of Birdie Toon and Elmer Toon, is employed by Bunge North America.

SCOTT CITY - Travis Bryant and Samantha Mackenzie Walton are the parents of their third child, second son, born at 3:40 a.m. Jan. 22, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Gage Richard Walton weighed 9 pounds, 2 1/2 ounces and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Walton is the former Samantha Bailey, daughter of Belenda and Harry Schumer of Scott City and Glen and Wanda Bailey of Benton.

Walton, son of Debra and Brian Brown of Scott City, is employed by Midwest Grain and Barge.
