Queen Johnson

HOWARDVILLE - Queen Esther Johnson, 90, died Sept. 27, 2001, at Missouri Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 23, 1910, in Coldwater, Miss., daughter of the late Lucy Williams, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Howardville.

Survivors include: one son, Shedd Johnson of Howardville; one sister, Jessie Mae Stokes of Yuba City, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Candra Booker and Shed Booker of Parma, LaShante Johnson of Cape Girardeau and Shaqouya Hill of Florida.

One daughter, Queen Peoples, preceded her in death.

Friends may call after noon Wednesday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mount Calm Cemetery in Coldwater.
