Accident leaves four people injured

BLOOMFIELD - A Sunday night accident resulted in injuries to four area residents.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred at 5:47 a.m. on Stoddard County Roads 524 and 525, near Bloomfield when a vehicle driven by Mark Hatchel, 26, of Bloomfield traveled through an intersection and struck an embankment. He sustained moderate injuries.

Passengers in the vehicle who were also injured include: Sarah McCulley, 20, of Bloomfield, minor injuries; Robert Christian, 24, of Dexter, moderate injuries; and Christina Bollinger, 20, of Bloomfield, moderate injuries.

All were taken to Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
