CHICAGO - Mae Willie Butler, 50, formerly of Florida, died Aug. 23, 2004, at the West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park.

Born March 19, 1954, in Charleston, daughter of the late John and Willie Mae Treadwell Parker, she attended Charleston schools and lived in Chicago since 1981. She was a member of Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church in Chicago.

In 1984, she married Andrew Butler who survives of Bell Glade, Fla.

Other survivors include: two brothers, Michael Eugene Parker and Johnny Parker of Charleston; five sisters, Mildred Jackson of Michigan City, Ind., Thelma Brown, Carolyn Faye Jenkins and Juanita Barner of Chicago and Bernita Parker of Charleston; and her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Douglas of Charleston.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. Saturday until service time at 2 p.m. at the Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston. Elder Steve Betts, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
