SIKESTON - Rep. JoAnn Emerson's Mobile Office will be at the Nutrition Center from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday.

Hearing tests will be conducted from 10 a.m. until noon on Tuesday.

Blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol screenings are conducted from 10:30 a.m. until noon the first and third Thursdays of each month. Cholesterol screenings are available at a cost of $5 which will cover the cost of the testing strips.

"Mixing It Up in St. Louis" is set for Oct. 13. The $57 cost includes round trip transportation, shopping and browsing at Soulard Market in the city's oldest neighborhood, a visit to Gus' Pretzel Shop, tours of the Missouri Botanical Gardens and St. Louis Art Museum and a stop at Ted Drewes Frozen Custard. Sept. 10-14

Monday - Ham and beans or pork pattie, mashed potatoes, turnip greens, corn salad, cookie, cornbread.

Tuesday - Honey lemon chicken or swiss steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, biscuit, chocolate cake.

Wednesday - Pork roast or beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, hominy, pea salad, bread, jello.

Thursday - Chicken and dressing or ham, sweet potatoes, peas, cranberry sauce, roll, fruit.

Friday - Salmon or barbecue beef, baked beans, french fries, slaw, bread, pudding.
