BERNIE - Kristopher Edward and Lori Ann Powell are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 1:42 p.m. Feb. 12, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Mackenzie Lynn Powell weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20-inches long.

The former Lori Condict, Mrs. Powell is the daughter of Clifford Condict Jr. and Teresa Condict of Bernie.

Powell, son of Janette Powell of Bernie and the late Edward Powell, is employed by Delta Asphalt of Arkansas.

SIKESTON - Ted and Carisa Blissett Jr. are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 5:53 p.m. Feb. 12, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Amyari Denise Blissett weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19-inches long.

Mrs. Blissett, daughter of Barbara Winfield and Robert Madison, is a certified nurse aide for Continu-Care Homemaker Service.

Blissett, son of Ted and Peggy Blissett Sr., is a corrections officer for the Southeast Correctional Center.
