MARSTON - Opal White, 80, died Oct. 12, 2002, at her home.

Born Oct. 23, 1922, in Dallas, Texas, daughter of the late Jasper and Mamie Martin Kirby, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Conran.

On Oct. 31, 1946, she married Claude White who survives of the home.

One brother, Clyde Kirby of Princeton, Ore., and several nieces and nephews, also survive.

Preceding her in death were six brothers, Jack Kirby, Oney Kirby, Walter Kirby, Howard Kirby, Ray Kirby and Jasper Kirby; and six sisters, Verda Creasey, Velma Vandiver, Vonie Atterbury, Olie Kirby, Marie Rook and Barbara Kirby.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jason Whitson, pastor of Conran Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
